Chemistry play at a lot of weddings, and it is always very special to be able to participate in one of the happiest days of people’s lives. We know how important it is for wedding bands to create the right atmosphere, in which two families and all their friends can come together and have the party of a lifetime. We also pride ourselves on the feedback that our clients share after the event, and we have received many lovely testimonials. A couple of months back, Verity and Stu Creedy kindly provided the following summary of their experience of working with Chemistry, both before and during their magical day….
“When we had booked our wedding date we knew there was only one choice – Bill and Wendy and their band Chemistry. We both had the pleasure of seeing Chemistry play previously and were blown away by the energy, showmanship, and ability to get the crowd JUMPING!
“When making arrangements, we were provided with clear information on the different options for band set-up, and were given guidance on these options taking the venue capacity and size of audience into consideration. We went with their full 6-piece line up of drums, bass, keys, three guitars, sax and vocals. The set up during our wedding breakfast was extremely discreet and Bill and Wendy worked with the hotel directly to ensure all arrangements were in hand – there was very little we had to do.
We had a wide range of Chemistry’s repertoire to choose from and Bill gave fantastic guidance on what songs would flow from one to the next. The result was a selection of floor fillers which everyone enjoyed. Bill also provided DJ support between the live sets, with a huge collection of tracks, and was happy to add any that weren’t listed.
When Chemistry kicked off the show, there was an instant feeling of a rock and roll experience. Throughout their sets the band members were bouncing off one another’s energy and remained in sync the entire time. The 4-part harmonies sounded fantastic and this, with their instrumentation, was perfectly balanced in terms of speaker output with their engineer at the helm.
The dance floor was never empty and we were dancing pretty much continuously – so much so, we didn’t even notice the evening buffet being served!
We wanted our day to be one of fun, love and having a great time. Chemistry really were the icing on the cake and were a huge contribution to making our day one we will never forget.”
Kind regards, Verity & Stuart”
Thanks for the write up – and the GREAT photo 🙂 Our warmest wishes to Verity and Stu for a happy life together xx
